  1. Camp Fear in Hiddenite, NC is not that bad of a haunt, but getting to the place is a hassle. Its way out in the middle of nowhere. And the final road leading to the Camp(Princess Lane) is a one lane gravel road, and it is hard to manuver, especially when you have cars coming out of the place and cars going in at the same time. That one lane road will turn alot of folks off. If you have the time and gas money to travel to get to this place, dont kick yourself later on when you think it wasnt really worth it. They had advertised that all the horror icons such as Jason,Freddy, Myers, Leatherface were in this haunt, they were not, Jason and Leatherface yeah, no freddy,no myers, that had alot of madeup characters which were not bad but it would have been better with more of the well known horror icons. Also i felt there was way to many kid actors in this haunt, needs more adult actors. 18 dollars is alot to spend per person to go and be scared by a bunch of kids, to there credit they tried and some did really well, nothing against the kids being in it, just needs to add more adults actors. Plus the story of Daniel took up to much of the haunt. Camp Fear should have more of a Friday the 13th backstory to it, considering it is an actual campground. just my opinion. the trail lasted a good 45 minutes plus, the claustrophobia part was cool, as was Leatherface, this haunt has a lot of potential, its not bad at all, just it can only get better, I believe it will with time. The can-food drive the first couple weeks was a real good idea, glad i could participate.
