Event Spotlight: The 2011 Running of the Santas!

‘Tis the season – for a pub-crawl you’ll never forget! Get your Santa gear, a couple of your best friends, and buy your tickets for the 13^th annual “Running of the Santas” on December 10th!

It’s an all-day charity pub-crawl event that’s taking place at the same time in 13 other American cities, and has one rule: get festive or go home. Last year, about 5,000 Santas, reindeer, and elves showed up for Philly’s Running of the Santas – and this year, the party continues.

There are drink specials all day, live music, a parade, a Sexiest Santa contest, and the day’s climax at 4 PM – the Run, when Santas in all 13 cities run from the “South Pole” to the “North Pole” at the same time.

It’s a great time for a good cause – part of the ticket proceeds go to two great charities, The Ellie Koerner Leukemia Foundation and the FOP Survivors Fund. They’re expecting Guinness world record crowds this year, so get your tickets, your friends – and your Santa suit – and be ready for the event of a lifetime!

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 day of, and $75 for “Loaded VIP tickets” that cover drinks, preferential line access, VIP area access, a special VIP after-party, and more.
