In Mission Valley, CA, the San Diego Asian American Repertory Theatre has been working furiously to produce The Joy Luck Club- and word has traveled fast!! The opening night show and gala have already sold out, along with many other performances. Tickets are still available, but you have to act fast if you want to catch this amazing show.

The play is adapted from the novel by Amy Tan that explores the relationships between Chinese immigrant motheres and their American born daughters. The stories have become very widely read over the years and have become staples in many schools’ curricula.
